Eli and Amanda's 1st BIG Adventure!

Yesterday Eli and I actually left the house for the 1st time by ourselves! It was very liberating and an emotional pick-me-up for mommy! First we visited the Dental Office and had lunch with Jay! It was his first full day back to work and we knew it would be a long one so we thought it necessary for a middle of the day visit! I wish I had thought to take pics, but I was just thankful to have gotten the necessities (diapers, wipes, extra clothes, burp cloths, etc) packed. After lunch, we went to visit Carrie at Ella Minnow Pea and to order birth announcements. It was fun to surprise her and was a fabulous visit! Last, but definitely not least, we stopped at Sonic and got mommy a Route 44 Strawberry Limeaide. I was nervous about getting Eli in and out of places, operating the carseat, and how we would time his feeding, so the Limeaide was my reward for a job well done!

Great job! I remember our first venture out of the house "alone" too. The feedings can be the most awkward thing to work around, but it gets much better. You feel like you have to pack the house to leave for 30 minutes and that is even without the bottles! It is good to reward yourself, Limeaide's are my favorite too!

I'm so proud of you and makes me hopeful that I'll one day be able to handle this as well. ONE day :) But Cyndy Wade might have to move to Nashville for at least a month or so!

Good for you! I was terrified to leave with Cade by myself. But it just continues to get easier!

You will be a pro in no time. The thing to do is just GO. You will learn what to do/not to do with practice. By the way... I still have a very adorable gift to get to you. I will try to give you a few more weeks at home before I BARGE in!
