It's Great to be a Tennessee Vol!

This weekend, Jay and Kellye decided to take the boys to the UT Orange and White game. The weather was perfect... it was warm, but not too hot! So Eli had his first trip to Neyland Stadium in all the orange glory! He did end up in "backup pants" before they even got to the game and he fell asleep during the second quarter, but overall a successful trip. There were over 50,000 people show up to scout out the team (and Kiffin). Isn't all that orange beautiful?!

Cole and Eli at the tailgate party! I was told that Eli flirted with the prettiest girl there, but I think his buddy Thomas was giving him a little direction!
They were able to meet up with Kellye's sis-in-law and her family. Thank goodness for extra hands!
Eli was tuckered out from all the flirting and excitement!
And Cole was not too far behind him! Isn't he getting so BIG!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Eli and Cole had a great time hunting Easter eggs last weekend. Eli found 1 and was happy just to sit and play! Cole, on the other hand, was a man with a mission! He found tons of eggs before sitting down with Eli to check out the Cheerios and raisons that were inside! Nene and Big Daddy Sam joined us for the fun and even brought the boys some remote control cars. Eli will have to wait a little while to play with his Lamborghini, but Jay will keep it maintained I'm sure!

And we're off! (and yes, that is a Halloween basket that Eli has! Don't judge!)

Rack'em!

One of Eli's favorite things to do is play "pool" with Granddad! He's almost too big for this, but I'm sure that Granddad will let him continue doing it as long as he wants! :)

Easter at the Farm!

There is nothing like Easter at the farm! Michael, Katie, and Josiah were able to meet us in Whitwell for Easter weekend. It was great to have the whole family together and give the boys a chance to reconnect.

Too many to name... I'll just call them the Wagner Kin Folk!

Uncle Butch, Aunt Ginger, Granddad, me, Eli, Jay, Katie, Josiah, and Michael (Gram taking the pic) at the farm. (See silo in background for confirmation! Yes.... I have lots of farming roots!) The Davis Men on the tractor! Josiah was a huge fan!

Josiah got to meet some cows! I think he's a farmer at heart!
Granddad LOVED being able to spend this quality time with Josiah at the farm! I think he enjoyed it even more than Josiah!

And what Easter is complete without walking through the dogwoods?!

Hard to Handle!

As Eli and Cousin Josiah get more mobile, it becomes evident that these two are HARD TO HANDLE! Easter was a lot of fun, especially time spent down at the creek. It took all of us (4 grandparents, 4 parents, and 7 cousins) to keep the boys dry! Whew! What a day! Can't wait for the next family party!

"Trying" to get a pic with the boys at the creek! Josiah was coming off his chocolate high in a hurry!

Someone got into the choc-o-late!!!

The boys didn't quite know what to think about the fake geese! :) Granddad trying to keep the boys dry!
These were the best out of about 15!

HAHAHAHA! How did Granddad get this job?!

More silly antics!

Here's some video of Eli in the water puddle at Lakeside Golf Course.

Eli the Duck!

Each year on Good Friday, Jay and I participate in the Eddie Kendrick Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the FBC Senior High Summer Mission Trip. Jay plays with a team (Donnie, Scott, and Thomas) and I help take up money with my mom. This year was a little different because I had Eli the spaz to take care of! Thankfully, between mom, dad, and I we were able to entertain him for a few hours before we finally gave in and let him go CRAZY in the biggest water puddle he could find! It was very entertaining to watch and he had a ball! Enjoy some pics of His Royal Spazness!

Eli and Noah's Birthday at Chuck E. Cheese!

Eli's 1st Birthday turned into a month long celebration that ended on April 2nd (my BABY's birthday) with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese's with his birthday sharing buddy Noah. For those of you who don't know, Noah was born about 1 hour before Eli and is literally his best and 1st friend! So it was only appropriate for us to celebrate this day together. Totally fun, but exhausting! Can't wait for next year!

Here's the Birthday boys at 1 year old!

Meet our new BFF - CHUCK!
Noah is an "excellent driver"!
Eli really just wanted to run away with the basketballs instead of play the game!

Eli and Josiah's Birthday Party in Chattanooga!

Last spring, Eli and Cousin Josiah were born 3 weeks apart. So when we knew that Michael, Katie, and Joe were going to be visiting in March, a party was inevitable! We had a joint family birthday party in Chattanooga at Coolidge Park including cake, presents, and a carousel ride! It was a wonderful time to visit with family and see the boys playing together! It would not have been so successful if it wasn't for the help of several people (I do like to delegate!). Thanks especially to Aunt Martha, Nana, Mom, and Diane for help with the food! We had a great brunch and I couldn't have picked a better brunch menu: Chick-Fil-A chicken mini's, pizza, sausage pinwheels, fruit, cupcakes, etc!!! I don't know how it worked out this way, but both of Eli's parties were catered with my FAVorite foods! :) Anyways, thanks again everybody!

Eli and Josiah in their matching birthday shirts! Aren't they precious?
We tried so hard to get a pic of the back of the shirts and finally we sent Jay outside to get their attention. The only problem is that Jay's not quite small enough to hide behind that pole! :)
YUM! Thanks Aunt Katie for the wonderful birthday cake!
Eli had loved all his presents! But his favorite so far is the farm tractor that Nana and Big Daddy got for him! Gotta remember our roots! Maybe mom can remember some "good" stories to tell Eli about growing up on a farm!
We loved the carousel, but I worried the whole time about all that cake and new foods that Eli had during the party making a reappearance!

Eli obviously loves singing and has recently learned to clap his hands. So "Happy Birthday" and being the center of attention was his favorite part of the party! How did I get so lucky? Gotta love this little boy!

Time with Brother!

How come even as an adult, our siblings can bring out the kid in us? Last month my brother Michael and his family visited from Birmingham. It was his birthday, as well as his son Josiah's 1st Birthday! Eli is so blessed to have cousins that are close in age and this 1st Birthday for the boys was OF COURSE to be celebrated! But that's another post.... Long story short - Michael and I got into a heated battle with playhouse balls and I resorted to using Eli's fort as cover! See pics below:
Eli thought it was so neat that momma was in his fort!
The boys picked sides and I WON!!! I used Josiah as leverage for a truce!
Can you say JUVENILE?
