Reese at 2 Weeks!
WOW! 2 kids! WOW! Today we got both kids and ourselves ready for church and were just marginally late (we've been later). I count that as a huge success! Leaving the house has been my biggest challenge thus far, but we're getting there. You quickly forget all the "must haves" that come with a newborn. :) Reese is doing great and even gained a whole pound last week. Here are some updated pics of our little Reesie Mac!

It's Starting to Look Like a House!
Just wanted to update everyone on the progress of the Owings home! We have walls, a roof, and they have started laying the shingles! YEA! It is so exciting to watch the house take shape, even though I know that the progress is going to soon come to a grinding halt! :) But in the meantime we're just going to enjoy the excitement.

Chick-Fil-A Bowl!
Who says you can't have fun on New Years Eve when you're 8 months pregnant?! New Years is also Jay's birthday, so each year we try to do something special with all our Rockwood buddies! This year we traveled to Atlanta for the Chick-Fil-A bowl. We had a great time with all our friends, even though TN didn't win. Thanks guys for a great time!

Merry Christmas 2009!
We had a fabulous Christmas with Eli this year! We traveled to Whitwell for the Davis and Wagner family Christmas celebrations, and then returned home for our own special Christmas morning and Owings family celebrations. We enjoyed lots of fellowship with family and tons of great food!!! Here are a few pics of our family Christmas:

Sesame Street LIVE
Today we took Eli to see Sesame Street LIVE: Elmo's Green Thumb at the Knoxville Coliseum! Our friends Joe, Nikki, and Sailor Presley went too! Eli was very excited about seeing Sailor and didn't understand seeing Elmo until the show started. Then, he put on quite a show: dancing and singing with the characters! We had a great time!
