Thanks CRx!
Most of you know that I am a pharmacist at Roane Medical Center in Harriman, but do you realize that I am actually employed by a company out of Texas? The pharmacy at RMC is contracted out to a company called CompleteRx that manages hospital pharmacies across the US. The networking and resources of this relationship allow the pharmacy at RMC to go above and beyond normal expectations for a rural hospital and we excel because of this! I am very blessed to work for this company and the friends that I've made along the way! This post is long overdue (Eli is 8 weeks!), but I wanted to say "Thanks" and show my CRx friends how much I appreciate them! The transition to part-time from Clinical Manager was not an easy decision and I miss seeing my "gang" at our quarterly Managers meetings, but I would not trade the time I get to spend with Eli for the world! Being a part-time pharmacist and full-time mommy is the best of both worlds and I LOVE IT! Below is a pic of Eli with our Operations Manager Kevin. Kevin is the smartest OM I know... he hired ME! :) Thanks Kevin... and thank you CompleteRx!

Trip to Autumn Acres!
Today we joined the Belitz Family at Autumn Acres in Crossville for family fun day! As Connard would say, it was "awesome"! We enjoyed the petting zoo, then went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch. There were tons of playground type stuff for the kids and 3 corn mazes! I even got a funnel cake! Lots of fun for kids of all ages and we will definitely be making this an annual treat!
Knoxville Zoo!
Here are some of my favorite things from our trip Friday to the Knoxville Zoo!
Of course, momma and Baby E! (See his ears covered Gram?)
Don't Baby E and Grady look like their actually having a conversation?Too cute!
It was really neat to see the zoo all decorated for fall and for Halloween. We are going to "Boo at the Zoo" this year for sure!
LOVED the binoculars! Connard brought them along to see the Elephants!
Siberian Tigers! All the big cats were out enjoying the fall weather!
LOVED the meercats!

My Soul Keeps A-Singin!
I had already picked out and posted my Saturday video when I came across this one of Carrie Underwood singing "How Great Thou Art". This was my Granddaddy Joe's favorite and consequently my favorite too! I would love to know what he thought about this beautiful, young lady's version! I think it's fantastic! I hope you all enjoy!

6 Month Stats!
Hello blogging world! Eli had his 6 month well-baby check today and he is perfect! He did receive 4 shots this morning, but he was over it before Nurse Amanda had time to get all her supplies thrown away. I think she was more upset than Eli which was super sweet to see! She used to work at the hospital with me and is one of my favorite nurses!!! I am so glad that she gets to help Dr. John take care of Eli. We are so blessed!
Here are Eli's 6 month stats:
Weight: 17lb. 1oz. (25th percentile)
Height 28 and 3/4 inches (75th percentile)
He is one tall, skinny bugger!

Pancake Day!
Each year the Dental Office at Rockwood has "Pancake Day" as a way of celebrating everyone's birthdays. On Pancake Day we all load up and travel to Gatlinburg to eat a HUMONGOUS breakfast at the Pancake Pantry. It's an early morning (we have to be in Gatlinburg at 8AM!), but soooooooo worth it! This year Eli joined in on the fun and then the Owings fam headed to the Ripley's Aquarium. Can I just say... AWESOME! We loved the aquarium and Eli was even able to watch the fish in the coral reef tank. It was a great day!
