3 MONTHS OLD!!!

Happy Birthday Eli! He is 3 months old today! I can't believe it. He is in a cooing, laughing phase and it is so much fun! He smiles at everyone who talks to him and sometimes he'll even give a laugh. Eli is sleeping through the night and finally napping well through the day. He has rolled over twice (back to front) and he is holding his head very well. I think Jay is his favorite person and it's fun to watch them interact. He has finally found the dogs and will follow them with his eyes. I put him in his Baby Einstein Exersaucer today and he got so excited! Thank you Gerberdings... he loves it! Here are some pics I took of him today!

Some pics of Eli as he's grown... 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months today!

Eli's 1st Wheels!

Here's some pics of Eli and his first set of wheels! This is our favorite stroller: a Jeep jogging stroller! It even has a sound system (speakers I can plug my IPOD up to). I've been trying to work off those last 10 pounds of pregnancy weight, but they will not budge! Any suggestions other than liposuction? Eli loves our morning walk/jogs and usually just snoozes through the whole thing!

Dragon Boat Races!

Today the fam headed up to Concord Park for the Dragon Boat races to benefit the Knoxville Area Rescue Ministry. The event had been promoted on LOVE 89.1, the Christian radio station I listen to in the car. We had never heard of "Dragon Boat Racing" and had to check it out! There are 22 people to a team: 20 rowers, 1 drummer to keep time, and 1 person in the back to direct the boat using a paddle as a rudder. There were 40 teams participating with corporate sponsors such as CVS, Covenant Health, and Merrill Lynch, as well as church sponsored teams. There were tons of people, food, and fun! The Daugherty fam joined us as we watched the races. The boys did well and even napped a bit! Check out the pics below!

Girls Nite!

Friday night was "Girls Nite"! Tiffany, Susan, Kelli, Christine, and I headed to Cancun's and then to see "Sex and the City". It was wonderful to go out with the girls and come home with Eli in bed for the night. Jay and Eli had lots of fun together while I was out. Thanks Jay! Movie was great... I laughed and cried through the whole thing! Thank goodness I had napkins for the popcorn to dry my eyes! Who woulda thought!
